Funders
Since, 2002 the Michigan State University Citizen Planner Program has secured over $2 million in grant leveraged resources. Initial investments were made from Michigan State University (MSU) and MSU Extension. Major grant funding has come from People and Land (PAL) and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.
People and Land (PAL) is a funding source for organizations working in land use education, leadership development, planning model identification, and policy development in Michigan. PAL seeks to raise awareness and inform the land-use debate in Michigan to help find common ground among diverse interests. http://www.peopleandland.org/
The W.K. Kellogg Foundation supports children, families, and communities as they strengthen and create conditions that propel vulnerable children to achieve success as individuals and as contributors to the larger community and society.
